French-Speaking Financial Advisor – Mauritius

My client is an independent group of financial advisers established in 1995, headquartered in Mauritius and operating around the world.

They offer a range of services to help clients make informed financial decisions to protect their families from unexpected difficulties, to enable them to grow and secure their wealth in the present, and also to preserve it for the future.

They currently had a need for an experienced French speaking IFA to be based in Mauritius.

My client will offer the following to the right candidate:

  • Full training in company procedures
  • Full use of head office
  • BDM / coordinator at your disposal who will assist you in filling your diary
  • External marketing campaigns to provide high quality leads
  • Excellent Commission paid
  • Excellent Trail and service fees paid

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide strategic advice across a variety of financial products and services
  • Assess client’s overall financial picture, understand their needs and develop a solid financial plan
  • Guide clients towards a profitable and secure financial decision
  • Keep abreast of new industry’s trends and research market to back up financial consulting
  • Comply with all industry rules and regulations


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fully French fluent
  • Experienced offshore consultants with a minimum of 2 years working with international clients (expat clients).
  • Track record of successful financial guidance
  • Ability to analyze market’s financial data and to provide appropriate data-based advice
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
  • Good Microsoft Office skills and knowledge

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Only French speaking candidates with two years’ experience at senior level in the financial services industry will be considered for this role.

Please note: This position would typically suit experienced or native French speaking candidates with experience dealing with expats. Applicants should have at least three (3) years’ client-facing experience in wealth management or life insurance advisory, with recognised investment qualifications (e.g. CISI, CII or equivalent). This is a performance-driven, client-facing role focused on relationship development and growth.
