Financial Advisor – Malta

My client, a highly regulated international Financial Advisory firm dedicated to providing trusted cross-border advice to UK and EU expatriates, is seeking experienced Private Wealth Managers in Malta as they continue expanding their global advisory presence. You will join a team of internationally focused advisers and work remotely from your chosen geographical base while supporting expatriate clients living across Malta.

Their Private Wealth Managers deliver high-quality, trusted advice to high-net-worth clients and their families, providing holistic guidance to help them make informed financial decisions. In this role, you will work with a range of expatriate and internationally mobile clients to design and implement asset allocation strategies and financial plans tailored to their individual circumstances, helping them achieve their long-term objectives within their chosen level of risk tolerance.

Malta is widely considered a tax-efficient jurisdiction for expatriates, but navigating the country’s resident non-domiciled tax regime, remittance-based taxation rules and cross-border obligations requires specialist advice. Advisers play a key role in helping clients structure their pensions, investments and wealth efficiently while remaining compliant with Maltese and international tax regulations.

Clients frequently require guidance around UK pension transfers, SIPPs, ROPS structures, international investments and estate planning, ensuring their wealth strategies align with Maltese residency rules and their long-term financial goals.

As a Private Wealth Manager you will benefit from strong regulatory backing, access to a broad range of global investment solutions, the support of dedicated cross-border tax specialists and administrative support that allows you to focus on developing client relationships and delivering advice. You will also benefit from a highly experienced Business Development team generating qualified leads, alongside market-leading commission structures and the opportunity to progress into management roles as the firm continues expanding internationally.

The role ideally suits experienced UK-qualified Financial Consultants with prior experience providing advisory services to UK or EU expatriates and a strong understanding of international financial planning.

Applicants must be willing to work on a self-employed contract and commission-only basis.

Location:

The role will be based full-time in Malta, working remotely from the city of your residence while serving clients across the country and internationally. You will play a key role in developing a dynamic and passionate advisory team while expanding my client’s presence within Malta’s growing expatriate and international professional community.
